Vernon Lodge 560 Raises Over £8000 for Kemp Hospice

Vernon Lodge 560 is proud to announce a significant fundraising achievement, having raised over £8000 for Kemp Hospice in Kidderminster. The funds were collected through a series of events held over the past year, including inter-lodge quiz nights, a treasure hunt, a Ladies Festival, and a skydive by the then Worshipful Master, Gerry Pigney.

The money raised will support Kemp Hospice in continuing its vital work of providing end-of-life care, counselling, and emotional support free of charge to adults facing life-limiting illnesses, their families, and carers. W Bro Pigney expressed his gratitude, stating, "Our Brethren and their families have been fantastic, as always, and the sum raised is a tribute to the fundamental ethos of Masonry, that of charitable giving. We arranged the events, but it took the Brethren to turn up and play their part. It really is a tribute to Vernon Lodge that we have been able to donate this fantastic sum to such a worthy cause."
